Baldwin Park was master planned as a Traditional Neighborhood Development, using the principles of New Urbanism. New Urbanism planning principles mix residential, commercial and civic uses in close proximity, creating pedestrian friendly neighborhoods that make it possible to limit vehicle traffic. Blue Jacket Park, a 55-acre City of Orlando park, is home to a track and field complex, lighted baseball fields and concession stand, tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic areas with covered pavilions, two children's playgrounds, a great lawn for soccer and field games, fountain plaza and grand stairs. Reservations for facilities are made through the City of Orlando.
Harbor Park is a City of Orlando park that encircles Lake Baldwin. It includes a popular 2.5-mile walking and biking trail and a beautifully landscaped amphitheater and boardwalk at the edge of the Village Center.
